2005 Philadelphia Eagles

4th Place in NFC Eastern Division

2005 Record: 6-10

Quarterback Donovan McNabb's season was ended abruptly after suffering a sports hernia against Seattle, but he was able to make due without the services of his top target, Terrell Owens, for most of the year.  He had a passer rating of 85, threw 16 TDs vs. 9 interceptions and led the Eagles on a pair of game winning 4th quarter drives.

Wide Receiver Terrell Owens had a better yards per catch average in 2005 than 2004 as he averaged 16.2 yards per catch to lead the team along with the 763 receiving yards. Unfortunately for T.O. and the Eagles, his verbal remarks against McNabb were everpresent in training camp and during the season.  These remarks would lead to him being suspended for four games, which turned into the remainder of the 2005 season for a total of nine games.
