Quarterback Tom Brady earned a Pro Bowl selection for the fifth straight year as he was able to overcome a slow start to 2013 with a completely new group of receivers, except Julian Edelman, for the first few games of the season. He would still throw for over 4,000 yards for the sixth time in his career and threw 25 TDs versus only 11 interceptions during the regular season.

Tight End Rob Gronkowski makes a leaping TD grab against the defending World Champs for one of his 4 TDs in 2013. Rob led the Pats with 15.7 yards per catch and his 592 receiving yards was third on the Pats. Injuries would derail much of his 2013 season as he missed 11 out 18 contents including sitting out both playoff games.

Halfback Shane Vereen missed half of the regular season due to injury, but he proved to be a valuable receiver out of the backfield with 47 receptions, third best on the Pats in 2013. He rushed for 208 yards on 44 carries in 2013 and scored 4 TDs from scrimmage, including this score against the Browns.
